Bellisimo Projects has been renovating homes since 2004. Based in Durban North, we operate in Durban and surrounding areas. We offer an all-in-one service, which consists of: suggestions and advise on design layout, the demolition to the existing to a bare shell, plumbing, electrical, building requirements, new roof installations and repairs, waterproofing, new ceilings and cornices, skimming of walls and ceilings, wall and floor tiling, external and internal painting, supply and installation of kitchens and bedroom cupboards, counter tops, window and door installations and so much more. With us doing all of this, we simplify the renovation process for you, making it as easy and hassle-free as possible. We pride ourselves in completing our renovations to a high standard and within a set time frame.
Light steel frame building (LSFB) has been in use in South Africa since 2007 and is fast becoming the way to build in the future. It is a building method and not a pre-fabricated or kit build. Components are manufactured in a factory and assembled on-site. The light steel frame walls, floor panels and roof structure are made from 0.8mm galvanized rolled steel and assembled in a factory. These panels are then transported to site where they can be installed either on a steel floor panel or concrete slab. Like timber frame building the walls are cladded externally and internally with a wide range of alternative cladding materials. Electrical and plumbing services are installed in the walls and ceiling cavities, with the walls and ceiling then being insulated with various insulation materials. Floors can be finished with either, tiles, laminate or vinyl flooring. The LSFB method is much faster and cleaner than conventional building, which means less workmen on site and the project built in a shorter time period, as well as minimal damage to your garden (this is a great bonus). Every day before the team left the work area was tidied & all the rubble or anything not required on site was either put in a safe place for removal or taken at the end of the day. Sheldon was in constant supervision of his team & his communication with me was always spot on. If I needed to talk to him he was always available. The outcome of the work was really beautiful & I couldn’t recommend Bellisimo Projects enough. "

Sheldon oversaw the major renovations we did across all contractors and acted as our project manager as well. We added an upstairs bedroom and bathroom, extended our living space, created a new kitchen and scullery.
