Fenceworks has proven to be a reliable, trustworthy company that takes great pride in their work, products, and ethics. We have built long-lasting relationships with our clients in and around Durban, Pietermaritzburg, and the Midlands. The company was established in May 2016 by Chris Slater in Howick, KwaZulu Natal.
Fenceworks started as a fencing company installing all types of fencing from barb wire to clear-vu type fencing, in various residential estates in the Midlands. Since then, Fenceworks has evolved into far more than a fencing business.

Fenceworks is now a registered and accredited electric fence installer with the Department of Labour. We have completed all the required COC training and registration process and are able to issue compliance certificates on electric fences We have a team working in the greater Durban area, Pietermaritzburg, the Midlands as well as Durban and surrounds.

"Chris Slater came highly recommended when we purchased our new home and needed to install a new electric fence along the perimeter of the property. We contacted Chris and he was extremely knowledgeable and gave us sound advice with regards to the fencing requirements and installation. Chris Slater installed our electric fence in March 2018 and the fence has been fully operational and in good working order ever since. "Chris Slater from Fenceworks installed an 18 line electric fence around my farmhouse and sheds in 2019. The fence has worked well giving very few problems. My energiser was struck by lightning at the beginning of this year and Chris installed the replacement for my insurance who paid out based on his quote. Fenceworks also maintains my fence when theres been a short or something like that. I would recommend the services of Chris and Fenceworks without any concerns."

"Chris Slater and his team erected an electric fence on our property in Rosetta in 2016. The installation required incorporating an existing motorised gate with electric fencing on both sides of an access road. The end result was a very neat and sturdy fence that has never given us a single day’s trouble despite being in an area known for its thunderstorms and erratic electricity supply (power surges).
