South Coast Tarmac is a family owned asphalting business specialising in domestic, commercial and industrial asphalting work. This includes creating new asphalt areas, as well as repairing and/or resurfacing existing areas to engineering specifications. Based in the Amanzimtoti area where we grew up, we are surrounded by family and friends who have known us for many years. This makes it even more important for us to deliver quality products and service. Customer references/ testimonials of our workmanship and work standards are available should you require it. We work anywhere in the greater Durban area: from Umhlanga in the North, Pietermaritzburg in the West, to Port Shepstone in the South.
We started in 2004 and are now a well established reputable business with a honourable reputation for quality workmanship and really excellent customer service. Like most reputable businesses, we are VAT registered and are covered in terms of public liability. As an Accredited Member of The Asphalt Association, our work comes with a 1 year workmanship guarantee. All our staff members are fully trained and well experienced and are supervised by the owner directly. Our marketing strategy is to rely heavily on referrals from satisfied customers for continued business, and so regard customer satisfaction as paramount

"At the main entrance to our complex, Chardonnay 31 Fynn Rd Amanzimtoti, we had about a square meter of tarmac that was taken out by the Ethekwini municipality to repair an underground burst water pipe. The municipality never came back to replace the damaged tarmac despite several requests. As this was a sore eye at our main entrance, the trustees of our Body Corporate requested South Coast Tarmac to repair it. They accepted the work, quoted and completed the order on the same day. We are very pleased for their excellent service and quick response."
